A Pile of Clones.

My hand-painted (all in acrylic inks), super fancy skate deck is complete!  It was truly a labor of love.  Jhonen Vee assisted me in naming it, “The Path to Individuality is a Pile of Dead Clones”.  If you are in the LA area and have some time to kill, you should poop on by to the show!  There’s a good chance I’ll be there, standing around n’ shit…

Infectious squid-board: A REAL THING! FOR REALS!

How exciting!!  My board has been made into a true, physical thing!!  They are currently for purchase at Infectious, for $59.99 a piece (as they are being produced in a very limited run).  Please scoop one of these lil’ doods up while they’re still available!  When I receive mine, I will surely take photos at slap ‘em up here, in yo’ face!

PS:  There is also an interview section over at the Infectious site…  where they…  yuhknow…  interviewed me, and I answered questions.  With my fists.

DOLLOP.

I had this lil’ stuffed doods at SDCC, but sold out of them almost instantaneously!  I will be making some more, but as I have no photo documentation of the physical lil’ guys, here is the original drawing they done sprang from…

The second they are available again, I’ll be sure to post a linky!

IMPENDING SDCC…

tenseshadow

Hello, mine kindela.  I know it has been all too long, as I have been recieving messages informing me that I have passed away or simply given up on all of you.  Not true!  Life has simply served me up a steaming pile of crap, causing me to quiet down for a wee bit, but only in the end making me more powerful.

SDCC!  Time now to don your favorite sweat-stained Storm Trooper costume, and break out the wieners…  it’s that time again!!  San Diego Comic Con is in a few days, and I will be there.  I will be there bathing in the stench of fellow geeks, and rubbing myself down with jars of antibacterial-juice in order to keep myself relatively sanitary.  Relatively.

Please come by the SLG booth, and say “hello!” as I will be signing solo part-time, and would love gaze upon your smiling faces.  I promise that I am quite friendly.

Here’s how the signing schedule gonna go:

  • Thursday:  Jhonen and myself – 2:30-4:00pm and 5:30-7:30pm
  • Friday: Just me – 11:30am-1:00pm, Jhonen and I – 5:30-7:30pm
  • Saturday:  Just me – 12:30-2:00pm, Jhonen and I – 5:30-7:30pm
  • Sunday:  Just me – 10:00-11:00pm, Jhonen and I – 3:30-5:00pm

I look forward to seeing you there!!!

PS:  Above are a few hand-painted soopuh-mini prints I will be selling at SDCC!  Each are 1.5×2.5 inches, hand-cut, hand-printed (gocco) on wood, and come in matching wax envelopes!  TEENSY-TOWN!!!  Each are lovingly handmade by yours truly.

PSS:  I will be posting other bits ünd bobs that I’ll be bringing to SDCC in the upcoming days!

Got Decked, yo.

I know, I know…  I have really been slacking on the posts, now get off my leg.

Actually, I was zooming from LA to Chicago and back again, to visit peepsies.  However, I am back now and hope to be avidly tossing shit up here for you pipples to look at, to remind yourselves “Wait, why did I come here?”.

Anyway, decks.  I am by no means a person who skates board and I am certainly not coordinated enough to even stand on an unmoving board with no wheels, but I do have a fondness for decks on an aesthetic level.  As a result, I’ve decided to design a few myself…

Finished this one today!

I’m going to attempt to get these printed up, produced as a limited edition of physical boards and eventually available for purchase! I’m hoping they come out well!

Do you know the onion man?

onion4

So, I’ve been silk-screening, and painting on fabric…  with the hopes, and intent of sewing up lil’ stuffed toys.

Well, success!  I’ve made me an angry lil’ onion man.  The process still needs a bit of tweaking, and he’s a bit raw, but I will soon be making little friends to sell in my etsy shop!  You too can have your very own crudely, hand-made buddy…  constructed out of PURE CUNCH LOVE.

PURE.

CUNCH.

LOVE.

YUH-HEAR?

Re-coup.

Hello, boys and girls!  I’m on the fast-track to better-health-town, and felt it would be a fine time for an update.

Firstly, there have been two recent mentions of my Momento Mori printset, one at Creep Machine, and the other at OMGposters.com!  How exciting is that!?  I am absolutely tickled!

mortality2

If you recall the sketch for “Today I Felt My Mortality”, I’ve cobbled it into a subtle-toned, 50-edition gocco print!  The print itself is 8.5×10, and is on saucy black cardstock.  I say subtle because it is partly a black on black print, so the background can only be seen when the black ink is hitting the light a certain way.  For the main image:  white, metallic gold, and grey oil-based inks.  I’m quite pleased with how it came out, but quite frankly, it is a bitch to photograph, so I feel that the jpegs aren’t doing the actual print much justice…  poo.  It’ll be up in my etsy shop today, for $40.

Also available in dur etsy shop tonight…  affordable buttons!

End note:  Below is the computer-colored version, so you’s can sees where I’ma comin’ from.

Yay!

Dum DUM DUUUUUUM!!!!

Well, it’s finally happened…  All of you have been terribly patient.

My etsy shop is FINALLY up and running!  I will be periodically adding new items to it, most of which are handmade.  I apologize that it took as long as it did mine kinderlekh, but you know how life can get in the way, and trip you up.  Anyway, pop by, take a gander, and keep checking for updates.  I’ll post new additions to the shop both here, and on dur twittor.

Wooo!!

Here is one of the lil’ buttons from the “Living Dead Love” set #1.

Gocco Printin’.

Hi-dee-hi-dee-ho, littluns!

I recently puked up this little dealy, (which I have dubbed “Hop-Skip”) and for your veiwing pleasure I thought I’d slap it up here.  It depicts a shifty looking, dual-headed jump roper, surrounded by a border of childishly rendered venus flytraps.  This piece was printed as a 4-part separation, on my wee gocco press.  One could use the analogy: Gibson Les Paul™ is to Guitar Hero guitar as screen-printing is to Gocco press, to describe this sadly dying printmedia-type.

This lil’ print measures at 11×8.5in, and has a limited run of 28 editions.  It will soon be available for purchase at my future etsy shop.

Tee shirt update.

Well, looky here!  Finally, up on the SLG site for your consumption, are the ghosties tee and “I’m fucking you” bear tee!  Hoo-haa!!  Very exciting!  They seem to have not posted images of them yet, but you can just take a looksee here:

These are printed on soft jersey shirts, and not those rigid cotton dealies that you could potentially use as a shield, if duck-taped to your arm.  The bear shirt is printed on a lovely asphalt grey shirt, with black and fluorescent pink inks.  With lightning bolts for pupils, he violently humps the lower right corner of your torso, while shrieking “OH YEAH!  YOU LIKE THAT?!”.  The ghosties shirt is printed in a friendly toxic-puke green, on a charcoal colored shirt.  These ghosties start in a clump on the lower left, and disperse diagonally up the shirt, moaning and making goony facial expressions.  As they do.

Jhonen has written a far more colorful description here.

Please, my children!  If you will, feast upon these bounteous tees!

Head Full O’ Bees poster update.

To all of yous that couldn’t make it to SDCC, and wanted your very own Head Full of Bees poster- the time is nigh for you, my friends!  SLG has put it up on their site for the ordering.  A mere $8.95.

Oh, frabjous day.  Calloo callay.

Here’s a linky.  Please enjoy!
